Assignment

"Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason, than that of blind-folded fear." -Thomas Jefferson

Assignment: Answer these questions. Hint: All the questions have an answer, whether or not you have chosen to answer them.
What is your God? (Where do your principles/values come from?)

What are the principles that you live by?
Is it ever OK to break from your principles?
What do you believe is the role of government?
What determines the boundaries and role of the government?
Have you seen an instance where the government has overstepped its bounds?
What would precipitate the need for government to break from its boundaries?
If principles and values can be broken, why do they exist?
I believe we should make our beliefs known. Challenge each other, not to belittle or dull beliefs, but to hone them, make them understandable, and make them clear. We must not act blindly, and we must decide what reason exists, so that we can follow it to learn the truth.
